親愛的新生,
由於校內最主要的研究生宿舍 Jones Tower 即將於2009年夏季關閉整修，目前研究生校內住宿僅有Neil Avenue Building以及Non-Traditional Housing兩種選擇。其中 Neil Avenue Building 費用較高，一個月約 USD $680，而 Non-Traditional Housing 數量則有限。如果新生無法申請到校內住宿，需要同學會協助尋找租屋，以下是幾點注意事項：
1. 台灣同學會將提供相關租屋網站資訊(網頁下方)，但台灣同學會不負責替新生尋找租屋。新生可利用台灣同學會所提供資訊，上網尋找符合所需之租屋。我們建議新生盡可能在到達學校之前找好可能的租屋。
2. 台灣同學會將提供新生看房協助。新生找好可能的租屋後，台灣同學會將指派一名義工同學帶領新生看房子，但受限於人力，看房協助以三間租屋為上限。如果新生希望多方比較，請新生尋找學校附近之租屋，並自行前往。
3. 租屋價格會因距離學校遠近、房子新舊、房間多寡等等因素而有所變動。一般而言，多人合租會比單人套房便宜。每月住宿花費 USD $400 至 $600 應為合理價格。
4. 為減輕義工同學之負擔，及節省租屋費用，我們強烈建議新生至 台灣同學會討論區 網站尋找室友及可能共乘班機的同學。
5. 選擇租屋時請考慮交通方便性，美國地廣人稀，很多地方難以以步行到達。OSU 校內有校內公車可搭乘，校外則有一般公車，但班次不如校內公車頻繁。學校周圍以 High street 上的公車班次為最多。另外，新生可考慮擁有接駁車的 University village。
6. 請新生理解因為 Jones Tower 的關閉，今年尋找校外住宿相對上比較困難。台灣同學會將盡力協助新生尋找住宿，但我們並不能保證新生一定能找到理想中的房子。請新生體諒現況， 放寬標準，共體時艱。
Dear new students,
If you need assistance in seeking housing from OSU TWSA, please read the following policy:
1. New students should decide the housing possibilities before their arrival to Columbus, Ohio.,
2. Mentors will be responsible for taking new students to seek for housing; however, there will be a limit of 3 houses that the mentors will take you to, anything beyond that will be on your own.
3. In order to reduce manpower and the cost of rental, we strongly recommend new students to go to the OSU TWSA Forum to look for roommates or people who may take the same plane with you.
4. Please understand that it will be hard to look for housing since the graduate residency dorm (Jones Tower) has been scheduled to close for the upcoming school year. We will do our best to help you with your needs, but we cannot ensure that you will be able to find your ideal housing.
